Natural Leadership Skills for Women
Too many women today have adapted their natural female behaviour to fit into the world they are in. They find themselves having to compete with men, and try to think and act like a man in the mistaken belief that this will help them to 'get on' in the workplace. They spend all day in business suits, outside their comfort zone as they hold their own in male-dominated environments, and arrive home too tired to do anything other than fall into bed. They juggle the conflicting demands of housewife, mother, businesswoman. They put their work and their family before themselves - and find that with all the different hats they have to wear, they have lost their own sense of identity.
Whether you are a business woman, a wife, a mother, an entrepreneur, a carer – in fact whatever role or roles you currently have, you have a need to interact with others. You may be happy being a follower in many areas of your life, but at some stage or in some situations, you will find you need to be a leader. As a parent, you provide a model for your children. You are a leader for them.

We are very used to the male definition of leadership. We see in the media the likes of Tony Blair, George Bush, Bill Gates, Alan Sugar, Donald Trump – all portrayed as the epitome of leadership. We see very few female leaders, and those that we do see often appear to be more male than the men! Margaret Thatcher and Hilary Clinton spring to mind.
Successful women leaders have their own natural leadership style.
"Emotional Wealth is living a life that reflects your values, passion and dreams. If you live a life that encompasses these it will show through in the way you find business, look after your clients, treat your family and live your social life. When you meet people who have this, they sparkle, they shine and they make you feel positive about life. They have the peace of mind to spread emotional wealth, this in turn makes them attractive and through this they achieve their financial desires as well as live a fulfilling life". Penny Power, Founder Ecademy.
By being your natural self, at your best, you will attract the success and fulfilment you desire and deserve.

Many women have forgotten who they are at their core. They have forgotten what it means to feel comfortable in their own skin, and to be feminine. To feel appreciated and valued just for being the wonderful woman that they are, able to express their emotions, their creativity and their femininity. They are so busy playing all the different roles that are demanded of them, that they lose sight of who they really are.
More and more women everywhere seek a solution, a way off the treadmill, a way to alleviate the pressure, a way out of the constant self-criticism. Women everywhere are looking for acceptance from others - and, most importantly, from themselves.

Some of those you will be paid to do, others seem can more like your duty, tasks that ‘have’ to be done. Sometimes it may feel as though you are earning a living, not living a life. Not any more.
In this module you will:
